Time Zone Converter

Convert a date and local time across IANA time zones, handle DST gaps and overlaps explicitly, and find weekday working-hours overlap for international meetings.

Meeting time

Enter the wall-clock time in the source time zone, then add every location you need to compare.

Target time zones

Working hours

Overlap uses each location's local Monday–Friday schedule. Holidays and personal calendars are not included.

Monday–Friday in each location

Converted time

Every row represents the same instant using the selected date's actual time-zone rules.

Quick Start

1
Choose the date, local time, and source IANA time zone.
2
Add the target time zones you need to compare; duplicate IANA zones are excluded.
3
If the source time is skipped or repeated by DST, change it or explicitly choose the intended occurrence.
4
Review each converted date, UTC offset, DST indicator, and weekday overlap window, then copy the summary if needed.

Common Scenarios

Every converted row is the same instant; a next-day or previous-day label only describes its calendar date relative to the source.

Working-hours overlap checks Monday–Friday and the same start/end hours in each location. It does not know public holidays, leave, or personal availability.

The visual timeline samples the day for readability, while overlap windows are calculated separately to one-minute precision.

DST & Time-Zone Boundaries

During a spring-forward gap, some local wall-clock times never occur. The tool rejects them instead of silently moving them forward.
During a fall-back overlap, one local time can represent two instants. The tool requires a first-or-second occurrence choice.
Use IANA identifiers such as America/New_York. Abbreviations such as CST are ambiguous and are not auto-parsed.
Future and historical results depend on the IANA rules bundled with your browser or operating system.

Limitations & Compatibility

No public-holiday, personal calendar, busy/free, meeting invitation, ICS, or CSV integration is included.
The full time-zone catalog appears when the browser supports Intl.supportedValuesOf; the built-in major-city catalog remains as a fallback.
UTC offset and instant conversion are authoritative for this result. The DST label is an informational browser/Luxon indicator.

Privacy & Security

Dates, times, locations, calculations, and copied summaries stay in your browser. The tool does not send a meeting plan to CrateX.app or a calendar provider.
