Redaction Tools & Options

Four tools: Select (move/resize), Rectangle, Brush, Eraser

Select a region first to adjust effect; unselected sets default for new regions

Auto-sync when all images are same size; auto-disabled otherwise

Output format: PNG (lossless) / JPEG (compact) / WebP (balanced)

Usage Advice

Shortcuts: Ctrl/⌘+Z undo, Ctrl/⌘+Y redo, Del delete

Scroll to zoom, right-click drag to pan (macOS: Ctrl+click)

Use solid blocks for maximum privacy

Mosaic/blur may theoretically be reversed by AI

Process large images or batches in smaller groups

Limitations & Compatibility

Very large images may fail to export; resize first

JPEG doesn't support transparency; fills with white

HEIC/AVIF decoding depends on browser support

Undo history limited to 50 steps per image
