Image Format Converter

Image Format Converter

Convert between WebP, PNG, JPEG, AVIF formats, compatible with HEIC/SVG uploads. Quality adjustment and batch processing.

Image Format Converter

🚀 Quick Start

  • Select target format: WebP / PNG / JPEG / JPEG XL / AVIF
  • Adjust quality: Adjustable for all except PNG (10–100), higher is clearer
  • Import images: Drag & drop or click to select, supports multiple files
  • Start conversion: Click button to batch process, progress displayed
  • Download results: Individual files can be downloaded
  • Download all: Package all successful items as ZIP

📌 Common Scenarios

  • Legacy compatibility: Convert WebP to JPEG/PNG for devices that don't support WebP
  • Reduce size: Convert PNG to JPEG or lower quality for easier upload
  • Preserve transparency: Export to PNG/WebP to keep alpha channel
  • Multi-format export: Export same image to multiple formats for different platforms

🎛️ Conversion Options

  • Target format: Determines output file type
  • Quality: PNG is lossless, no quality setting; other formats adjustable 10–100
  • Transparency: PNG/WebP/AVIF support transparency; JPEG does not

🧭 Usage Advice

  • Large quantities or oversized images consume memory, may cause lag or failure, batch processing recommended
  • Keep page in foreground during conversion; background tabs may be throttled
  • Photos: prefer JPEG; transparent assets: prefer PNG/WebP; compatibility: use PNG/JPEG
  • WebP has smaller size but less compatibility, use JPEG/PNG for legacy environments

⚠️ Limitations & Compatibility

  • JPEG doesn't support transparency; transparent areas will be filled with white
  • SVG will be rasterized at current render scale; complex SVG may have slight differences
  • Conversion may strip EXIF metadata (for privacy protection and size reduction)

🔒 Privacy & Security

  • All processing is done in your browser; data never leaves your device

❓ FAQ

Why is there no quality option for PNG?

PNG is lossless and doesn't use quality parameters. For smaller size, use JPEG/WebP/AVIF or reduce resolution first.

Why is the converted file larger?

Different formats have different compression characteristics. For example, JPEG to PNG increases size; PNG to JPEG usually decreases. Try lowering quality or changing format.

How to preserve transparent background?

Choose PNG or WebP. JPEG doesn't support transparency; transparent areas will be filled with white.

Colors look different?

Different browsers have varying color management. Lossy compression may also slightly alter appearance. Verify in target environment.

Can SVG be converted to bitmap?

Yes, it will be rasterized at current render scale. To keep vector properties, use SVG directly.
