Selective export

render only the pages you need from a long PDF.

Archiving

keep page images locally without uploading the PDF.

Input & Output

Input: one local PDF file.
Pages: all pages by default, or a range such as 1-3,5.
Output: one image per selected page, plus ZIP download for multiple pages.

Usage Advice

Check the page range before converting; invalid page numbers stop rendering.
Use 1x or 1.5x for small files; use 2x or 3x when you need sharper images.
Large PDFs and high scale settings can use a lot of memory. Reduce pages or scale if rendering fails.

Limitations & Compatibility

This tool renders PDF pages as images. It does not edit, merge, split, compress, sign, or OCR PDFs.
Image quality depends on the PDF content and selected scale; conversion cannot improve blurry source pages.
Password-protected or unusual PDFs may fail if PDF.js or the browser cannot decode them.

Privacy & Security

Processing runs in your browser. CrateX.app does not upload the PDF or generated images. Uploaded files, preview URLs, and generated images stay in page memory and are not synced by default.
